One Step in His Way

Why are things not going my way...

In the last few weeks I have found myself wondering what my next move should be?
What is best for me?
What do I want to do?
What does God want from me?
Why would He give me such a task?
Why am I afraid to do what He has asked me to do?
Why do I hesitate?
Why don't I trust in him more?

well, the first "Reality Check"
I don't spend enough time with him to get the answers and comfort, He is willing to give. (Different day - Different blog)

Secondly...

On Sunday Dec 13, 2009 I was asked , "If you were standing before Jesus, what do you think He would ask you to change in order to follow Him?

Immediately it came to me..He would ask me to give up "my way"

Strange.... well let me explain

All of my life I have been quite a unique character with a very direct point of view...

I consider myself to be very helpful however, whenever I am asked to do something I mean anything I usually get it done but I have to do it MY WAY.

Now this is not a "my way or the highway" type rebellion it is more of a "it would probably work better if I did it this way and in my time"

I have always been that way. I remember being a little girl every time someone taught me something I had to change it up and find a pattern that was right for me.

and as you would know it that mentality has ruled all areas of my life more recently my spiritual journey..

I had to do it my way...

GOD has been tugging at my heart for a long time to do what He has purposed me to do and as always I have been trying to do it my way I have tried to fit it into my list of things to accomplish in my time and my comfort zone ....

OK so that is not working because GOD IS NOT HAVING THAT! lol

So what I have decided to do was

Challenge myself to create better habits that would assist me in Following God the way He intended me to..

The Goals

Organize, plan, prepare, think critically, be open-minded, be timely, be internally-motivated, be consistent, lead and follow with flexibility

Challenge one:
Complete process for seminary
Progress:paid admissions and scheduled Spring Classes

Tight and Right

OK Ladies

Summer is gone and as much as we all claimed we were going to get in shape this summer a lot of US dropped the ball...So guess what it's time to get back on the fitness track

Action Plan:
1) Consult your Physician to ensure you are in good health and will not harm any thing while exercising
Prime example, If you are asthmatic we would not want you running 5 miles without proper conditions and medical precautions

2) Plan an exercise time that works best with your personality!
For instance, I am not a morning person so morning workout are out for me and I am at my highest energy level in the evening after work. so i work out after work!

3) Pick a program that works with your energy and attention span!
For instance, I have a short attention span and high energy in short spurts so i
need a program that will be short and to the point, as well as fun and keeps my
attention. i.e. Zumba, 1 hour classes with focus (Pilates) (Yoga) (Circuit
Training)

4) Think about what works for your schedule;

As women we are forever multi-tasking so think of ways to exercise while
doing other things...

Not that busy... OK maybe you are watching your favorite show find some moves
you can do while watching TV or sitting

I work on my abs and back on my yoga mat during commericals and use the core
strengthening ball (search Bally Total Fitness Core Sculpting System) to sit on and work some other muscles while the show is on!!

5) Try some new equipment
I have recently purchased a new core sculpting system it is an exercise ball, weighs, resistance cords and a stability ring which gives me several options and workout moves with minimum equipment also i bought an 8 lb sculpting ball and some DVDs to walk me through the use of all i bought

6) Partner up
With almost anything you chose to do it always helps if you only had a little push from someone. It give you an accountability partner and causes you to go harder. so grab a friend or co-worker and get started

7) what are you eating?
Exercising should be paired up with new eating habits. I am not saying to go crazy with diets and cut backs but simply LEARN to make better choices...

Eat correct portions;
eat 5-6 times a day try 3 meals and 2 snacks; Fiber is your friend

Take your vitamins (Centrum complete is a good one but there are others...suggestions welcome)

Drink WATER as much as you can

8) Commit
it has been said that if you do something for 21 days it becomes a new habit
pick an exercise regime and stick to it...

9) Be healthy: Please do not go nuts and start doing excessive exercising... in all things do them in moderation and make sure that you are focused on living healthy and not short term beauty and vanity <-- no really

Messages from the Heart (Expecting Love)

Very often as I am calmly or frantically going through my day; all of sudden someone is placed on my heart and God directly inserts messages and hits send. lots of time being the mere human I am I hesitate to go but eventually I do... Most messages given to me not only impact the designated receiver but me as well...with that said I share...

This was my latest message hope it blesses you the way it did me and the intended receiver..

When you truly embrace the love HE has for you and realize fully who HE is then you will be able to discern HIM ... in the man that is designed only for you....Love will find you if you are standing where God told you to..."
